Pierrot Le Fou is the story of a man who runs away with his children's babysitter and together they embark on a surprising cat and mouse journey from Paris to the Mediterranean. It's funny, with bits of absurd reality dropped in for good measure. Anna Karina is a stunning site running around and riding in a convertible looking effortlessly chic. Jean-Paul Belmondo
isn't so bad either. This is the first
Jean-Luc Godard film I've seen, and certainly won't be the last.
